With the release of their long awaited new album after 5 years back in March 2023 and recent sell out world tour, Fall Out Boy are set to return to the UK for Download Festival. Their last tour saw them playing in front of over 1 million in sell out arenas across different continents. Their global status as one of the best rocks bands of the 21st century is a view held many millions of people around the world and their high energy, riff hitting rocks tracks are loved by many.

As per the First Direct arenas 2023 press release ‘‘ The U.S. leg included numerous sold-out stadium gigs – including renowned venues like Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Boston’s Fenway Park and Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium. Critical and fan acclaim poured in, with USA Today hailing it “the most stacked line-up of any rock tour in 2021,” Billboard noting that each night was “serving up a buffet of hits in front of one of the largest concert crowds,” and Rolling Stone calling it “wildly entertaining.” The tour was nominated for both Major Tour of the Year and Best Rock Tour at the Pollstar Awards in 2021. Award topping albums such as Save Rock & Roll and American Beauty / American Psycho charted at number 1 on the billboard charts of 200 albums and number one across 22 countries. They have also have critical acclaim from rock gods The Rolling Stones.

Following Post Malones pre headline set, Fall Out Boy received excellent reviews after headlining Leeds & Reading Festival in 2018 and became the highlight of the weekend for many Festival Goers, including Melvin Benn the organiser.

Fall Out Boy will be back on the Donnington Park Main Stage on Saturday 15th June, we expect to see fire shooting from guitars, rocky riffs, popular melodies and hits spanning their twenty years as rock gods as they establish themselves in the rock hall of fame.
